How to install, step by step
KILILI isn't on Play Store, so Android shows a few warnings. That's normal for every app that doesn't come from Play Store. Here's what to tap.
Download
Tap Download KILILI. If Chrome says "This type of file can harm your device", tap Download anyway.
Open the file
Tap the download notification, or open Files → Downloads → KILILI.apk.
Allow this one time
If Android says "Your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source", tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then press Back.
Install
Tap Install. If Play Protect says "Unsafe app blocked" or "App scan recommended", tap More details → Install anyway (or Install without scanning).
Open and allow
Tap Open. Allow Nearby devices, Location and Notifications: that's how KILILI finds phones near you. Turn on Bluetooth.
You're in
Choose I'm new, pick a name, add a photo. Then share KILILI with the people around you.
Why does my phone warn me?
Android warns about every app installed from outside Play Store, good or bad. KILILI is signed with our own permanent key, and Android will only ever accept updates signed with that same key. You can check your copy is genuine below.
Already have an old KILILI test version?
In the old app, save your account file (Me → Back up or move to a new phone). Uninstall it, install this one, choose I already have an account and pick the file from Downloads/KILILI.
iPhone?
The iPhone version is coming. For now KILILI runs on Android 8 and newer.
Organise or sell? Get a pass.
KILILI is free for everyone. Passes are for people who earn with KILILI. Pay once with Mobile Money and get a code; after that it works with no internet, and only on your phone.

You need your pass ID: in KILILI, open Passes and tap Copy pass ID. You approve the MoMo prompt on your own phone. A real KILILI rep never asks you to send money to their personal number.
Safety and privacy, in plain words
- No company server holds your chats, photos or contacts. They live on phones.
- No sign-up, no email, no password reset desk. Your account is a key on your phone, and KILILI saves an account file to your Downloads folder every day so you can move to a new phone.
- No ads, no tracking, no selling your data.
- Messages are locked so only the person you send them to can read them.
